FUNCTIONAL NUTRITION CONSULTANT
In high school, my mother passed away with an autoimmune condition known as idiopathic Lupus erythematosus. Her doctors did not know the cause and experimented on her with drugs, surgery and radiation. It didn’t work out for her in the end. From that day on, I set out on a quest to uncover the root causes to many of today’s health issues, then natural solutions to address those causes.
I attended U.C Berkeley, and doubled majored in Molecular & Cell Biology and Psychology. After I graduated, I worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative for 5 years where I taught medical doctors about Drug to Drug interactions, adverse side effects, and withdrawal syndrome caused by many commonly prescribed pharmaceutical medications.
Once I realized that chemical based medicines have inherent risks and do nothing to correct nutritional deficiencies, I left my role as a pharmaceutical sales representative. I found Functional Nutrition could help me resolve my own personal health issues (allergies, asthma, poor digestion and adrenal fatigue). From that day on, I became dedicated to learning how to help others to rebuild their body and organs with genuine replacement building blocks that can only be found from food & herbs. I found how to address the root causes to many health issues, including that which my mother was diagnosed with.
I’m certified by the American Association of Nutritional Consultants (AANC). I completed a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition. I lecture nationally to natural health practitioners on the application of Functional nutrition and herbs to restore human health. I am a guest lecturer at the top Traditional Chinese Medicine Universities and Chiropractic Colleges and I am the author of The Pharmaceutical Myth book. I am an Advanced Nutrition Response Testing® practitioner. I also have trained hundreds of natural health practitioners in Northern California and even mentored many of them at the Waterman Chiropractic Center in San Ramon, CA.
My family and I receive regular chiropractic, acupuncture and enjoy the outdoors because when we look to nature and support the innate healing ability of the human body, health is a result, naturally.
