My name is Gerald Roliz and I’m a a former pharmaceutical sales representative turned Functional Nutrition Consultant.

In high school, my mother passed away with an autoimmune condition known as idiopathic Lupus erythematosus. Her doctors did not know the cause and experimented on her with drugs, surgery and radiation. It didn’t work out for her in the end.  From that day on, I set out on a quest to uncover the root causes to many of today’s health issues, then natural solutions to address those causes.  I received dual degrees from U.C Berkeley, where I majored in Psychology and Molecular & Cell Biology.  Upon graduation, I worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative for 5 years where I taught medical doctors about Drug to Drug interactions, adverse side effects, drug-induced diseases and withdrawal syndrome caused by many commonly prescribed pharmaceutical medications.

Once I realized that chemical based medicines have inherent risks and do nothing to correct nutritional deficiencies, I left my role as a pharmaceutical sales representative and found that Functional Nutrition resolved my own personal health issues (which included allergies, asthma, poor digestion and adrenal fatigue). From that day on, I dedicated my life to learning how to help others to rebuild their body and organs with genuine replacement building blocks that can only be found from food & herbs. I found how to address the root causes to many health issues, including that which my mother was diagnosed with.

I am certified by the American Association of Nutritional Consultants (AANC). I completed a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition. I lecture nationally to natural health practitioners on the application of Functional Nutrition and herbs to restore human health. I am a guest lecturer at the top Traditional Chinese Medicine Universities and Chiropractic Colleges and I am the author of The Pharmaceutical Myth book. I am an Advanced Nutrition Response Testing® practitioner and is a Level III graduate in Quantum Nutrition Testing. I have trained thousands of natural health practitioners across the country and I have personally trained and oversee all of the work of the Natural Health Improvement Center’s clinicians. I am on a mission to help as many people be healthy and happy.
